WalkHard is a 125 mile walk from Troy,AL to Panama City,FL that will benefit Camp Seale Harris, diabetes camp. We will be walking spreading awareness of how diabetes affects the ones around us and taking donations to send kids to camp. It cost between $500-$700 to send one camper to Seale Harris. Our goal is to send as many kids as possible to camp without any expense to them.

Congratulations are in order for brothers of the Kappa Beta Chapter. This week was the annual SGA Executive Officer elections, and our chapter went home with two of the top five offices. William Filmore will serve for his first full term as SGA President for the 2010-2011 school year. He is currently serving the rest of the previous presidents term. Brother Filmore is so respected on campus and has done so well in this short amount of time that he was uncontested. If that was not enough, George King won the position of SGA Clerk for the 2010-2011 school year.

King has served as a SGA Senator this year, and won his seat in a heated race. These two guys will not only represent Troy well in the next year, but the chapter of Alpha Tau Omega as a whole. On behalf of the Chapter we wish them all the luck and success in the upcoming year. We would also like to congratulate John Duncan for being selected as an Impact Leader for Troy University. Impact is the new student orientation for incoming freshmen and it is an honor to have a brother selected out of the large pool of applicants.
