An education is the reason you come to college. ATO knows that! To prove we know that, we have THE toughest scholarship program of any fraternity on campus. If you pledge ATO, as an incoming freshman you will have mandatory study hall hours every week for your first semester. In study hall, there is no eating, smacking on gum, talking, cutting up, answering cell phones, or anything to distract you from the reason you are there. We have tutor programs in place to help anyone who is struggling in a class. Grade reports are sent around to teachers for them to report how you are doing in the class. And at the end of the semester, if you don’t make the grades, it gets even tougher. Since ATO has been on campus, we have averaged the highest GPA of all fraternities each year. Over the past 5 semesters here at Troy University, ATO’s Average GPA has been over a half point higher than non-greek males at Troy. Here at Troy, the average GPA for non-greek males hovers around a 2.4. ATO’s GPA for the past 5 semesters has averaged over a 3.0. We have programs in place to help you succeed in the classroom because we know that is why you are here in the first place.
